Why trust a site that hasn’t tested anything?

Because we don’t pretend otherwise. Every “we wore 40 fragrances for a month” roundup you’ve read on a publishing deadline almost certainly didn’t — and can’t prove it did. Here is what we do instead, and it’s all checkable.

We compile the published specs

Notes, concentration and launch year come from the official listing, cited and dated. What a scent is made of isn't a matter of opinion.

Prices are live and dated

Numbers come from a daily Amazon check and carry the date they were pulled. If the check stops, the price disappears rather than going stale.

Performance is labeled 'reported'

Longevity and projection are community consensus from Fragrantica and Reddit — thousands of data points, clearly marked as reported, not a lab claim we can't back up.

We say when to skip

Every pick gets an honest 'who should skip this.' Where a $30 clone gets you most of a $150 designer, that's our pick — commission doesn't decide it.

Dupes are reported likenesses, not copies

We'll tell you when a clone is close and when it's only 'in the same lane.' We never claim two scents are identical when they aren't.
