The sale calendar, as far as it is actually known
- Prime Big Deal Days: October 6–7, 2026. Amazon has announced a 48-hour event for Prime members that includes beauty. It is the first sensible checkpoint to compare against today’s prices.
- Black Friday: Friday, November 27, 2026. Cyber Monday: Monday, November 30, 2026.
- Amazon’s Black Friday Week: not announced for 2026 when this page was published. For reference only, Amazon’s 2025 Black Friday Week and Cyber Monday deals ran from November 20 through December 1, 2025. We will add the 2026 dates here once Amazon confirms them, and we will not guess them in the meantime.
- After Christmas: fragrance retailer sales calendars point to late December and January as the clearance window for leftover gift sets — useful for buying for yourself, too late for a holiday present.
What our own price records show
Every bottle on this site gets its Amazon price checked daily, and we keep the record. Between July 19 and September 14, 2026 — ordinary weeks, with no major sale event — three patterns stood out. They describe how these prices normally behave. They are not a forecast for November.
1. Prices move in ordinary weeks
Several bottles we recommend, including Lattafa Khamrah, Armaf Club de Nuit Intense Man and YSL Y, moved by roughly a fifth between their lowest and highest daily price, with no sale involved. So a November price that is lower than one you saw in September is not automatically a Black Friday discount; it may simply be an ordinary low.
2. Some prices did not move at all
Creed Aventus, Montblanc Explorer, Paco Rabanne 1 Million and Hugo Boss Bottled each held a single price on every day we checked them. A flat record does not tell you whether a November cut is coming, but it does mean there is no recent dip to wait for.
3. “Percent off” labels are an everyday feature
Amazon displayed a discount against a higher list price on Armaf Club de Nuit Intense Man, Rasasi Hawas and Lattafa Ana Abiyedh Rouge on every single day we checked them. A struck-through list price is not evidence of a sale. The FTC’s own pricing guides make the same point about list prices generally: only in the rare case are all sales of an item made at its suggested retail or list price.
What tends to get discounted, and what rarely does
Holiday gift sets
Sets are built for the gifting season and promoted through it. The clearest pattern on record is after the holidays rather than before them: leftover sets are what retailers clear in late December and January. If you need a set as a present, judge it on what is inside and the price you see, not on the chance of a better one later.
Mainstream designer bottles
Scents like Sauvage, Eros, Y and Acqua di Gio are sold by many retailers, and fragrance retailer sales calendars put their biggest sitewide events in November. These are the bottles most worth watching into Black Friday week — as long as you know today’s price, so you can tell a real drop from an ordinary one.
Value houses
Lattafa, Armaf, Rasasi and Afnan bottles are already inexpensive, and our records show their prices moving in ordinary weeks much like everything else. Any November saving is likely to be small in dollar terms, so the case for waiting is weak unless you are buying several.
Tightly controlled luxury houses
Chanel runs a selective distribution network and takes action against sellers operating outside it, even when the goods are genuine. That is a reason to buy Chanel from Chanel or a retailer it authorizes, and to treat a marketplace “deal” on it with more caution, not less. For Creed, our only evidence is our own record: Aventus did not change price once. Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille and Oud Wood moved, but only modestly.
Sample and discovery sets
Already the cheapest way into fragrance, and several held a single price throughout our records. There is little to gain by waiting, and a lot to gain by sampling early.

How to tell whether a Black Friday price is real
- Compare the price, not the label. Under the FTC’s pricing guides, a “was” price only supports a genuine bargain if the item was really offered at that price on a regular basis for a reasonably substantial period. A big percentage against a list price proves very little.
- Know today’s price. Every button on this site shows a live price with the date it was checked. Note the one you care about now, and you will know in November whether a price is actually lower.
- Check who is selling it. A famous bottle far below everyone else’s price from an unfamiliar seller is the classic counterfeit setup. Our guide to spotting fake cologne covers the checks.
- Check what is in the box. A cheaper listing can be a smaller bottle, a travel spray, or a set with less fragrance than it looks. Compare size and contents, not just the headline price.
When deals go live
We will update this page in November, once Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals are actually live. Every deal we post will be a bottle or set we already cover, priced through the same live, dated price check as the rest of the site, and we will only call something a deal when its price is below what our own daily checks recorded for it beforehand. If nothing we recommend is genuinely cheaper, this page will say that too.
